Principal's Message

North Star Elementary, Home of the Huskies!!  

North Star Elementary School, a place where teaching, learning and relationships are the center of our daily work with students,  parents, and staff.  We look forward to working with your children and all of the excitement that each year brings.

Bethel School District is a place that I have had the pleasure of calling home since 1988.  At that time, I began my career in education as a 2nd Grade teacher at Camas Prairie.  Along the way I taught 3rd Grade, 4th Grade and General Music and eventually moved into school administration.  I was the principal at two schools before joining the staff at North Star.  I am proud to be a part of this team and look forward to working with you towards the achievement of your children's academic and social emotional goals.  

At North Star, we are committed to providing your students with a safe learning environment that will allow them to build critical foundational skills in reading, writing, math, science, social studies and the arts/fitness/technology. It is our goal that each student leave North Star prepared to be successful for middle school and beyond. Our teachers strive to foster positive growth in students and are always excited to work with you, the parents, who were their first teachers and forever cheerleaders.
