This fall, students will only be assigned a bus route after parents complete the ParentVUE Student-Family Update and select that they need bus transportation. The reason behind this is that our Transportation team is moving to a new routing system.

Cedarcrest Middle School is making civic engagement more than just a chapter in a textbook. This year, the school is piloting the Youth and Government program, a YMCA initiative that gives teens hands-on experience in the legislative process, allowing them to draft bills, debate pressing issues, and see how laws are created.

In April of 2024 our School Board began the process of hiring Bethel's next Superintendent, and we are pleased to report that, effective July 1, 2025, Dr. Brian Lowney, who has been serving as the district’s Interim Superintendent since July of 2024, will officially be our new Superintendent.
